Smokey John’s BBQ launches secret menu
After reopening earlier this year from a devastating fire in 2017, Smokey John’s BBQ is back in action and just released a secret menu.
Launched on July 1, the menu consists of a massive, loaded baked potato, their spin on tacos, po’boys and a ribs and catfish combo meal.
The Food Coma Baked Potato, priced at $22.95, consists of baked beans, brisket, sausage, hot links and ribs all loaded in a potato. Co-owners Brent and Juan Reeves say they’ve never seen anyone finish it.
A dish that’s close to the Reeves’ hearts is their ribs and catfish combo, or what they call, The Steve White. For $16.95, customers get a plate of two ribs, two catfish fillets and two sides. The name comes from a Smokey John’s regular who used to bring his Japanese coworkers to their restaurant for real Texas food.
Customers who want a secret menu item will have to ask for it by their name because they won’t be listed on the restaurant’s regular menus, but we’ve got you covered! Find the full menu below.
